• Meet André Smoke

“I got into photography/videography back in 2015, as a creative that wanted to capture and remember important moments. As someone that has very few portraits/videos of significant people/moments in my own life, I understand the importance of having something captured..to recall, revisit and remember.

I was born in Brooklyn, NY, with cocaine, alcohol and opioids in my system. Naturally, I was placed into the foster care at birth and adopted at an early age. Unfortunately, both of my parents passed away before I turned 18 and in the chaos that surrounded the situation, I don't possess a physical photo of either of them. I have one digital photo (of a photo) of me and mom. I don’t have a single photo of my father.

I may have 10 photos from my entire childhood. Until my early adult years, I rarely exist outside of yearbooks.

I picked up a camera because proof of memories are important and I'd love to capture yours.”
